It also boasts an incredible historical and cultural heritage, with picturesque villages, cliffs and mountains, and a wide choice of leisure activities. Not to mention its renowned gastronomy, where local produce and expertise abound. Paella, rice, fish, cold meats, turrons.... Not to mention vineyards, citrus fruits and vegetables.
There's no doubt that the Costa Blanca has everything you need to make it your new home, where you can enjoy the Mediterranean climate and all its advantages.

Buying a new property, flat, villa or bungalow offers customers the advantage of customising their purchase to adapt the property to their needs and tastes (with a certain orientation, height or view, cellar, ground floor with garden, storage room, garage, etc.)

Many developers allow changes to be made to the layout of the homes, choosing between integrated or independent kitchens, modifying certain materials and even adding certain extra equipment, such as home automation.
It's also a bet on a property built with the most advanced materials on the market, reflecting modern times and technological advances, and services based on energy efficiency, which can mean significant savings on the monthly bill. What's more, they offer safety guarantees, so you can avoid costly repairs and save money.

What's more, new-build flats are generally located in modern urbanisations that have spectacular communal areas to enjoy your free time: swimming pool, paddle tennis court, social room...

Spain is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. It receives more than 60 million tourists a year.

When it comes to living in Spain, the first thing you expect is one of the most pleasant climates in Europe virtually all year round, over 8,000 kilometres of coastline and an impressive cultural heritage. And what about gastronomy? The Mediterranean diet has been declared a cultural and intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO, so, if you wish, your diet during your stay in Spain will be very healthy. A word of advice? Don't forget to try olive oil.

Another of Spain's main characteristics is the excellent quality of its healthcare system: modern and with extensive coverage.

As for transport, especially in the cities, you'll find a vast system of interconnected means of transport.

In terms of cultural infrastructure, you'll find a wide variety of concert halls, museums and libraries. If you're looking for green spaces (parks, gardens, etc.) and a commitment to the environment, you'll find them too.

Education is also high on the agenda of the Spanish government, which is participating in the Strategic Framework for Education and Training 2020 (ET 2020) to improve the quality and efficiency of education and training systems.

When you live in Spain, you'll have access to modern telecommunications, you'll feel confident and secure and, above all, you'll be able to enjoy the cheerful atmosphere on the streets at all times.

As for life expectancy, it is one of the highest in Europe and the world. A fact that is announced year after year, and which is that the various indicators place our country on the podium, with an average age of 83.

Beyond that, there are factors such as the climate, which allows the elderly to get out and about more often than in other countries where the weather prevents them from doing so, and food ‘because the elderly are still attached to the Mediterranean diet and can afford to eat vegetables and fruit at more affordable prices than in other countries’. Nor should we forget the character of the Spanish people, who are joyful and happy to be alive.

also known as the Trenet de la Marina) is a narrow-gauge railway that links the city of Alicante with Denia, in the north of the province, along a route of almost 100 kilometres parallel to the coast.
It runs through the municipalities of El Campello, La Vila Joisa, Benidorm, Altea, Calpe, Benisa, Teulada and Gata de Gorgos, ending in Denia.
It has become the preferred means of transport for many residents and tourists to travel around the province of Alicante at low cost.

GASTRONOMY
